Ainsa - Pyrennes Jul 6, 2004 | Tuesday 6th July 04
151 miles average 37.8MPH stop at Ainsa, which in back in Spain. Slow run but weather in the mountains did not help, nor did the 11am start.
John Hold left the party today and headed to see a aunt in Italy before he rejoins us on Friday.
The plan of some of the group (Trevor, Allistar and Ian) is to do some camping, sadly this has yet to happen, the weather on arrival here was absolutely lashing down and I have yet to see one of those tint things you sleep in and continue to look for quality hotels. Which one was found a good clean hotel only 52€ for room for 3. The night was spent hiding under a Pizzeria canopy drinking far too much wine and hiding from the rain.
it was also too wet for photos today so double dose tomorrow |
